Who do you think of, when you hear of the word family? Mother and father of course, sister or brother if you have any, your grand parents and maybe some aunts and uncles for good measure. Usually things come to a stop there, maybe someone is young enough to still have their great, great grandmother or father alive, but that’s about it. Now I’m not sure if this is a common saying, but I’ve heard a couple of times that you should greet every man on the street as if they’re your father, since you don’t really know for 100% if the one you have really is your dad. It’s a bit of a silly saying, but one can’t help but to think about it just a little.
In the end, it doesn’t really matter all that much since the more you go down the family tree, the more relatives people have in common and everyone alive today carry at least a tiny little part of someone else.
Confusing much? Here’s a better explanation!
